    Maggie Butler

Maggie Butler co-founded The CM Group with Cherie Myatt in 2005. Before that time, she had worked for over a decade in medical event management for companies in Boston and New York City. Despite her quick rise to leadership positions, she always had the desire to start her own agency. A self-confessed “Type A” personality, Maggie’s detail-oriented nature has served The CM Group well. She envisioned a group that would focus on flawless event execution and above-and-beyond customer service; today, her team of 50+ employees delivers just that.

Maggie possesses an intimate knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry’s strengths and challenges, of the life-cycle of a drug and of operational strategies that she’s seen fail and succeed. She views each pharmaceutical event as a puzzle, and she enjoys figuring out the best way to put the pieces together. Maggie’s goal is always to “get it right the first time.” She never runs away from a problem, but rather enjoys the adrenaline rush of an eleventh-hour request.

When not on the clock, Maggie is passionate in her support of organizations that focus on critical medical research and support, including Stand Up to Cancer. Maggie earned her bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University.
